THE RECEPTION An adult reception was held immediately following the ceremony at a private riverside location. Although the sun didn't show it's face a great deal on our wedding day it did make a brief appearance just in time for the announcement of the bride and groom! Guests spent the evening under a beautiful tent enjoying the sounds of the well-known "strolling strings," delighting in delicious meals and shaking it on the dance floor! As the pictures on our photo gallery page demonstrate, a VERY good time was had by all. At the end of the evening guests were transported back to the hotels by a historic trolley.

A SPECIAL THANKS:We would like to say thank you to a few special vendors who made our day extra nice. Our florist, Rosemary, (Nevill's Florist) did a terrific job with all the bouquets, ceremony flowers and tent decor. She truly went above and beyond. We would also like to thank Carol Hart who made us a simply beautiful cake. We could not have envisioned anything more beautiul. We would also like to thank all of our family and friends that helped us during the days leading up to our wedding and particulary at the reception site on Friday. Kristen's dad, Jay, John, Scott and Mike did a fantastic job fulfilling Kristen's vision of a lighted tent complete with paper lanterns. Although it was a bit scary to see "Super Dave" balancing high up in the sky - you all did a truly wonderful job. We would also like to thank Laura and Carla for taking care of the tedious swag lights - they were the perfect complement. And of course we can not forget Kristen's mom who was busy with all the last minute details that only a mom can take care of with style! And for those of you who enjoyed the "vanities" in the porta potty tents you can send a special thank you to Kristen's dad who took her vision and ran with it. And to everyone who kept us calm and got the job done - thank you!
