 What excites us most about our wedding is having people from all parts of lives come together for the celebration of "us." You each have touched our lives in so many different ways, so we'd like to take a little time and tell you how it all began. It was a cold January morning. Kristen had arrived for her first day on the job as a scriptwriter at Cabletime, Inc. She looks across the top of her cubicle at her new office mate. He was tall, he was handsome and he was EXTEMELY quiet. "Oh, this won't do" she thought. She threw paper balls at him, she sang him songs, she told him anecdotes about her dog. Afer a while Mike loosened up and a friendship began. After sharing an office for about a month, Mike finally got up the courage to ask Kristen out on a "friendly" date. Dating a coworker ... company's forbid it, magazines tell you not to do it, it's out of the question right? Well ... we all know we're not ones to follow the rules. We went to see Mike's favorite musical, "West Side Story." After a few more platonic get togethers and a wonderful first dinner, (cooked by Mike!) we became inseperable! And so the story goes... In October of 1998 Mike accepted a position as a commercial producer at Time Warner in Raleigh, NC, and we soon became full fledged southerners! A few months later, Kristen took a position as the promotion specialist at Time Warner and we were co-workers once again! |
